It only looked like we'd vanished, really! Now it's time to get down to business and be more active, I swear! So all my quiet little lovelies, I'm looking forward to hearing from you. And everyone welcome our newest member, I've recruited the lovely =Iriesurfinchick for our little menagerie!

About ~Painted-Words

What are we you may wonder? Well, let us tell you! Surely you're sitting on the edge of your seat with much curiousity. Either that or you are here because you already know what we are about.

In a nutshell (appropriate as we are a couple of nuts) we are =lyastri and ~Faraleigh (who is on a bit of a hiatus right now *sniffle*)

We have this dream of a community that embraces not only visual art, but written art as well. For the two go hand in hand so often, one can thrive off the other, both delight the eye, heart and mind.

We will welcome pictures that tell stories, stories that paint pictures, as well as the two combined into one fabulous piece. So be you artist or poet, come one, come all! We're friendly and don't bite, promise. (Note that Faraleigh will string me up if I bite anyone) We want this to be a place of sharing and friendship, and will welcome all skill levels.
